Don't assume, for example, that I will recognize that it is named after a particular rock singer. If you do not want your name mentioned in the acknowledgements, please let me know.
• Illustrations. I would like to add illustrations to these pages. If you have any that are relevant, especially pictures of the more obscure organisms and of organisms whose names relate to their appearance, I would be grateful for copies.

I have collected relatively few of these names on my own. The people who contribute feedback deserve the credit for the vast majority of the content of this site.
